Mayumi was chosen as a semi-finalist, out of several hundred video submissions, in the KDFC Classical Star Search Competition.
Mayumi in The Luna Trio plays Carnegie Hall: Sunday February 24th, Mayumi in The Luna Trio played Carnegie Hall in New York City. It was videotaped for National Public Radio's "FROM THE TOP" television show. It will air nationally on PBS television stations later this spring.
The online edition also included a nice video of her practicing.
